My friend let me borrow the DVD yesterday stating it was a pretty funny movie. I was expecting Snakes on a Plane with zombies… and I was right. Now don’t get me wrong, the movie was cheesy, the effects were horrible, and the plotline, physics, and logical reasoning was very lax in this movie… but it was still entertaining to watch. I am happy to say that regardless of the many downfalls in this movie, it still worth watching if you are able to borrow a copy and have about 94 minutes to kill.
2 other things I feel I should mention:
1) I really enjoyed the soundtrack actually, the opening song reminded me of Killswitch Engage so that was kinda cool.
2) I think the movie would have been equally as interesting had there been no zombies at all. The cast of characters and the actors were pretty entertaining and I was enjoying the movie prior to the zombies arrival. Hell, if they just made a movie based on the cop and international criminal I’d probably buy it.
And now for some questions you should ponder before watching he movie as to avoid wondering them at the end:
Why the hell did every other person on an international flight have a gun?
Why would their first idea to clearing out the cargo hold be to build a bomb and detonate it in the area housing all of the electronics for the plane?
Why would Canada’s first reaction to a US plane crossing their border be to inform the Pentagon they plan to shoot it down?
